Recalling Alfred Hitchcock and Brian DePalma in both style and suspense, first-time director Andrew Moorman has made an extraordinary debut film that is guaranteed to keep even the most jaded viewer on the edge of their seat.
In a dingy motel room in the middle of nowhere, a bank robber holds a young, attractive woman hostage. Keeping her handcuffed to the bed until he is able to formulate a plan, things go from bad to worse when an escaped convict takes them both prisoner and sets in motion a dangerous and very bloody cat-and-mouse game of one-upmanship. Who wins in the end isn’t always about who has control of the gun – but it certainly helps.
A trio of newcomers – Aaron Boucher, Steven Pritchard and Marina Shtelen – each gives a stand-out performance in this twisty thriller whose unrelenting tension and unpredictable chills announce a major, new talent on the contemporary movie scene.

Stars: Marina Shtelen, Arron Boucher, Steven Pritchard

From Chad Ferrin, the acclaimed director of the cult hit Someone’s Knocking at the Door and “The Ghouls,” comes once again, but this time with this twisted holiday shocker. It’s Easter, sixteen-year-old Nicholas’ favorite holiday, but when the mentally disabled youth’s mother, Mindy, begins a relationship with a psychotic criminal, bizarre events begin to unfold as home intruders, prostitutes, and street trash are murdered in bizarre and gruesome ways by a crazed bunny-masked killer. Just who is behind the mask, and how will their blood-splattered night of carnage end? “Easter Bunny, KILL! KILL!” is a stylish and totally original confection where gore, violence, horror and humor all intersect for a creepy good time.
